The Publications unit provides copies of
all publications that have been produced by the Department of Water Resources
by request to public and other agencies. Many are free of charge or require
a nominal fee. You can request publications by email by filling out this
request form, (or print the form and send by mail if payment is required).
Publications that are out of print may still be copied if needed. Call
us at (916) 653-1097 during our hours of operation, or email
imr-publications@water.ca.gov
for details. In addition some limited electronic publications are
available free of charge via email, download, or on CD.

Specific Services
- Standard 7 to 10 days to shipping from contact for all small quantity,
domestic mail orders.
- Requests for more than 100 copies of any DWR publication, must be
requested at least 2 weeks in advance to allow for the approval process.
- Method of payment (checks, or money order only, no credit cards
please).
- Maintains a Reference Library of Department publications

- OPEN Monday through Friday 8 AM - 4 PM

we will contact you

However if payment is required for your request
please submit a DWR
form 9552 by mail with payment + 7.75% sales tax enclosed (checks
or money orders only please).
